About Windwalker Real Estate

Beginnings

Windwalker Real Estate takes its name from a beautiful boat. And the name in turn honors the island’s sea and sky and grand seafaring tradition. In 1999, Nicole Bousquet and Alan Worden, the founders of Windwalker Real Estate, set sail from Nantucket aboard the 46-foot sloop, Windwalker, outward bound for the Pacific. The only two sailors aboard, their year-long passage took them to the Galapagos, French Polynesia, and finally to New Zealand. Ms. Bousquet and Mr. Worden have put their love of living by the water, their courage, and spirit of adventure into a different kind of Nantucket real estate brokerage. The thoroughness, the preparation, the knowledge and the judgement they brought to their voyage are the very traits that set Windwalker Real Estate apart.
